Jan Homann

Jan Homann studied Cultural Studies with a focus on cultural history in Leipzig, Zurich and St. Petersburg (B.A.).

After commencing his law studies in Cologne and Bergen, he worked at the Institute for ABWL, Risk Management and Insurance Law, since 2022 as WHB at the Institute for International Peace and Security Law. He gained practical work experience at the Leipzig City History Museum, in the Department WI4 for Science and External Relations of the German Bundestag, at the State Justice Administrations for the Investigation of National Socialist Crimes and at the Regional Court of Cologne.

He is particularly interested in the History of International Law, the History of International Organizations and Nazi and SED injustice.

Jan Homann is a member of the Cologne Center for Advanced Studies in International History and Law.
