Christian Mausolf
Christian Mausolf studied law at the University of Cologne, specialising in International Law and European Law, and passed his first state examination at the Higher Regional Court of Cologne in January 2024. During his studies, he worked as a student assistant at the Institute for Media Law and Communications Law.
Since April 2024, he has been a research assistant at the Institute for Criminal Law and Criminal Procedure at the Chair for German and International Criminal Law of Prof. Claus Kreß. He is also a PhD student at the Institute and is writing his doctoral thesis on the crime of direct and public incitement to genocide and its reflection in German Criminal Law.
Mr Mausolf is particularly interested in International Criminal Law and general International Law, including their historical references, as well as German Criminal Law.
He is a member of the Cologne Center for Advanced Studies in International History and Law.
