Professor Kreß was thus accepted as a member of Class IV for the humanities, social sciences, and behavioral sciences. The Leopoldina – National Academy of Sciences deals with key social issues of the future from a scientific perspective, independently of economic or political interests, communicates the results to politicians and the public, and represents these issues both nationally and internationally.
